Inspired by Silver Fox, GeoTripper, Highly Allocthonous, and others, I’ve decided to jump on the 2010 Geology Travel meme bandwagon. It’s actually the perfect time to reflect on my 2010 travels from a geo perspective, as I am in the midst of planning upcoming 2011 adventures.

In retrospect, I guess I had a pretty good travel year! Perhaps my goal for 2011 will be to put some geotravel excitement into every month — which is not too hard to do in the San Francisco Bay area!
